The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of employment-related matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance, and will be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Admission in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Represent employers in labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on employment law issues Advise clients on employment-related compliance, policies, and best practices Assist with internal investigations and risk assessments Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and workplace policies Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances Stay current on developments in federal, New Jersey, and (if applicable) Pennsylvania employment laws Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active admission to the New Jersey Bar (required) Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment law Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience with employment litigation and/or counseling Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills Preferred Skills Experience practicing before state and federal courts in NJ/PA Familiarity with agencies such as the EEOC and state equivalents Experience advising employers on day-to-day HR issues Interested in hearing more?
