Working collaboratively with a dynamic team, the Bartender ensures a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience for every guest.Who You Are:* Friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to engage with guests and provide a positive experience.* Ensures that drinks are prepared according to specifications and served promptly.* Ability to handle multiple drink orders efficiently, especially during peak hours.* Strong focus on providing outstanding service to guests and enhancing their experience.* Ability to collaborate with other team members to provide seamless service.* Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.What You'll Do:* Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.* Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes.* Ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards.* Greet and engage guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude, and providing personalized service.* Take drink orders from guests and servers, answering inquiries about menu options.* Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction.* Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift, ensuring that all equipment, garnishes, and supplies are ready for service.* Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, surfaces, and waste disposal.* Monitor and report inventory levels for beverages, garnishes, and supplies to avoid shortages.* Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification.* Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices.* Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.* Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.* Assist with restocking supplies and supporting barback duties during busy periods.* Foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service.* Other duties as assigned.Your Qualifications Includes:* Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required, with bartending experience highly preferred.* Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment, including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service (TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required).* Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.* Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking.* Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.* Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
