Review and provide input regarding current recommended project designs and procedures for adherence to safe design alternatives. Keep abreast of changes in applicable laws, codes, regulations, and industry standards as well as for projects technology, materials and equipment used in the maintenance, construction and remodeling of facilities and plants. Review and provide input regarding current recommended procedures for adherence to cost estimates and budgets for capital engineering projects to develop an understanding of how projected budgets are created. Assist in assigned technical projects using engineering methodology. Assist in the research and assembly of instruction manuals outlining directives and equipment for assigned projects.
