Position Details The Police Assisted Diversion (PAD) Outreach Specialist works collaboratively with the Office of Public Safety, Philadelphia Police Department, Philadelphia Fire Department, and additional external organizations to divert those away from the criminal justice system and into social services. The Outreach Specialist conducts needs assessment to help the consumer with their needs and goals. Outreach Specialists assist with drug and alcohol assessments, shelter assessments, outpatient referrals, CRC warm handoffs, stranded traveler assistance, medical benefits assistance, and connection to community supports.
