Providing customer service, physical security checks, and investigating suspicious or unsafe circumstances. Heavy public contact, including potentially dangerous or suspicious individuals. 100% field facing./ppMain Responsibilities:/pulliPatrol sales floor and parking areas to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity./liliMonitor CCTV systems to identify any suspicious behavior or security threats./liliProvide assistance to customers and employees as needed, including responding to medical emergencies or customer disputes./liliEnforce store policies and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly environment./liliWork closely with store management and local law enforcement agencies to address security concerns and incidents./liliComplete detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or activities./liliParticipate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance security knowledge and skills./liliProvide security field operations in a proactive, effective manner with an emphasis on customer service./liliMaintain engagement on security priorities at all times./liliProvide effective responses to security related activities, incidents, inquires, suspicious circumstances and emergencies./liliCoordinate with Security Leadership on expectations, priorities, and implement solutions as needed./liliEnsure all security assignments are executed at all times./liliCoordinate and communicate effectively with the leadership on site./liliLine management-blocking off hazardous areas, directing traffic./liliCreate professional, well written incident reports for all security incidents./li/ulpWork Environment:/pulliAbility to prioritize work in a fast-paced organization, coordinating and managing multiple tasks./liliDemonstrated ability to ensure compliance of standards and training./liliStrong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment./liliAbility to work at times with minimal supervision./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing for communication effectively with all levels/liliJob operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors./liliPosition requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities./liliWork various shifts and Holidays as assigned./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliActive or retired Police Officer./liliACT 120 and ACT 235/liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to remain calm and composed in stressful situations./liliExcellent observational skills and attention to detail./liliPrior security experience is preferred but not required./liliFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, weekends, and holidays./liliHigh School Diploma, with some college credits, (preferably bachelors degree), or equivalent combination of education and work experience./liliMinimum of 5 years experience in security, customer service, or a closely related role./liliStrong computer and systems skills, including office software, access management, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident reporting./liliMust be 21 years of age./liliValid Drivers License/liliSpeak, read, and write English./liliMust possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the of assignment to perform security officer duties./liliPass a background check/liliPass a 5-panel drug test/liliCPR Certification, we help get you certified/li/ulpVeterans/ppInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
