The Mason will construct and repair brick, stone, and concrete structures and surfaces, as well as provide a high level of craftsmanship to ensure that all projects are completed with superior quality. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and with a team to complete projects on time and within budget.Mason Duties and ResponsibilitiesConstruct and repair walls, chimneys, and other brick, stone, and concrete structuresMix, apply, and spread mortar and other adhesivesCut and shape bricks, stone, and other materials to be used in a projectUse specialized tools and equipment such as chisels, hammers, and saws to complete projectsEnsure that all projects are completed in accordance with safety regulations and standardsPerform other tasks as requestedMason Requirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a Mason or related field preferredAbility to lift and move heavy objectsGood manual dexterity and eye-hand coordinationAbility to work independently and with a teamGood problem-solving skillsAttention to detailValid driver's licenseCompany Description Norristown Chimney is a high quality, Full Service Chimney & Fireplace Company.
