Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance

In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols and reporting expectations.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or access concerns in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
