The client is a global robotics and automation company helping transform supply chain and warehouse operations through advanced intralogistics systems. Their automated technologies improve operational efficiency, reliability, and throughput for some of the world's largest brands. Supporting these systems requires highly skilled maintenance professionals capable of troubleshooting and maintaining complex robotic and automated material handling systems in fast-paced operational environments.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will support the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of advanced automated distribution and material handling systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, minimizing downtime through corrective actions, and supporting both emergency and scheduled maintenance activities. You'll work closely with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot systems down to the component level, identify recurring faults through root cause analysis, support system upgrades, and help maintain high operational performance across automated logistics systems.
This role aligns extremely well with veterans from electronics, automation, and industrial maintenance backgrounds. Military experience such as Navy Electronics Technician (ET/ETN), Electrician's Mate (EM), Army 94-series electronics repair, Air Force Avionics or Electrical Systems (2A / 3E0X1), or Marine Corps electronics maintenance MOSs translate directly. Veterans experienced in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and supporting mission-critical equipment under operational pressure will find strong alignment with this role.
This is a hands-on technical support role within a highly automated logistics environment operating on rotational 12-hour shifts. Maintenance Engineers work with robotics systems, conveyors, motors, PLCs, sensors, and industrial communication systems while supporting live operational environments where uptime is critical. The rotating schedule provides extended stretches of days off while also giving employees a built-in 5-day transition period when moving between day and night shifts. Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC systems, SAP, warehouse automation, or factory automation systems is highly desirable.
