High School Assistant Crew Coach

Vacancy for a High School Assistant Crew Coach for School Year 2026-2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach correct rowing and erging techniques, boat-handling skills, and race strategies.
• Help execute structured daily practice plans as designed by the head coach
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure rowers are following boat safety guidelines
• Drive coaching launches on the water when necessary.
• Assist with launching and docking boats, performing rudimentary boat care and maintenance, and managing equipment inventory.
• Travel with the team to and away from weekend regattas
• Must be able to commit to weekday practices (typically 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM) and weekend regatta schedules.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to take course)
• Build a positive relationship with student/athletes, parents, and other staff members.

Qualification

• All required clearances, physical and TB test, and District requirements must be completed before employment.
