Bad Brother is looking to add a line cook to our back-of-house team. We currently have both full-time and part-time positions available.

Full-Time: 37–40 hours per week Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week Typical shifts begin at 3:30 PM and end when the kitchen is clean, typically Midnight on the weekdays and 12:30 AM on the weekends

Pay: $18–$22/hour based on experience, skill level, and availability.

We run a small kitchen, and most of our staff rotate stations and handle multiple roles, so versatility and a willingness to learn are important. Our goal is to execute detailed, high-quality food while maintaining a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. We make everything from scratch and change our menu often. Clear communication, organization, and consistency are essential during service.

We're looking for someone who works hard, takes pride in what they do, and works well with others whether it's busy or slow. We also take cleanliness seriously and deep-clean the kitchen every night.

The ability to pass a standard background check is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food consistently and efficiently during service
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout shifts
  • Communicate clearly with teammates and management
  • Properly maintain kitchen equipment
  • Minimize waste and handle product carefully
  • Assist with nightly cleaning and closing duties

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
