Job Description

This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory control, timely fulfillment of work orders, and effective coordination with cross-functional teams using SAP and other warehouse management systems. You will combine strong computer and data entry skills with hands-on warehouse activities to keep material flowing smoothly, maintain synchronized system and physical inventories, and provide responsive support for internal and external orders.

Responsibilities

  • Pull parts and materials to fulfill work orders using RF guns and warehouse management systems while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Work closely with Production Control, Production, Material Planning, and other departments to ensure SAP and actual physical inventories remain aligned at all times.
  • Monitor and support proper material flow through the warehouse, from receipt to storage to issue.
  • Perform regular cycle counting to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Put material into stock in the correct locations and update inventory records in SAP and other systems.
  • Ensure material is accurately picked, staged, and issued for Repair Orders and Sales Orders in a timely manner.
  • Support the fulfillment of parts orders for time-critical requests, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) or similar urgent needs, by working cross-functionally with relevant teams.
  • Use RF guns, SAP, and other ERP or warehouse management systems to record transactions and maintain real-time inventory data.
  • Perform data entry related to inventory control, shipping and receiving, and warehouse documentation using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying documentation, labeling, and inventory updates as needed.
  • Follow warehouse safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Demonstrate a high sense of ownership and urgency when resolving issues related to inventory, orders, or material flow.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues and other departments to resolve problems and clarify order or inventory details.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to identify root causes of inventory or order discrepancies and support corrective actions.

Essential Skills

  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems and data entry.
  • Hands-on experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience using RF guns for inventory control and order picking.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory management.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes, including cycle counting and stock put-away.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to perform warehouse tasks such as lifting, moving, and stocking materials.
  • Professional demeanor, responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • High sense of ownership and urgency when handling tasks and resolving issues.
  • Proven problem-solving ability in a warehouse or inventory control context.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems for warehouse and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with various warehouse management software tools and systems.
  • Experience working with production control, material planning, and other operational departments.
  • Knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs beyond SAP and Oracle.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving documentation and processes.
  • Comfort working with multiple technology platforms, including RF equipment and office productivity tools.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
