Employees advance to the full rate after one year of continuous service.Why You Will Love Working At Maola Local Dairies™:Built on over a century of dedication, Maola is always looking ahead—investing in our people, strengthening our communities, and securing fresh, local dairy for the future.Join a farmer-owned cooperative rooted in integrity, sustainability, and a passion for providing fresh, high-quality Maola dairy products.We prioritize your well-being with competitive pay and a Union comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and moreOur employees are an integral part of who we are — what you do and what you think matters.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Dump product from inventory into totesPump the product into the tanks from the totesCompleting CIP/SIP as neededMonitor the cooler (rework/salvage) inventoryComplete the required rework documentsEffectively clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds.Utilize proper chemical usage, including floor sprays or other chemicals when necessary.Adhere to food safety standards developed by Moala.Follow instructions regarding work assignments and daily tasks.Maintain a good attendance record.Work in various environments, including wet or dusty conditions.Proficiently use plant touch screens and follow CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures.Operate equipment such as pressure washers, chemical foamers, electric floor machines, wet and dry vacuums.Lift heavy bags and boxes, push carts weighing up to 50 lbs.Read and understand labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.Demonstrate safe and proper use of cleaning tools, including squeegees, mops, brooms, hand cleaning tools.Use ladders and/or lifts safely to clean overhead pipes, walls and tanks.Clean restroomsPerform general labor tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting, & stocking suppliesSanitization of employee workspacesRemove trash from all work areasProcess trash removal compactorVacuuming floorsCleaning and servicing break roomsCleaning windowsCleaning up spillsRestocking all supplies as needed throughout the dayGiving support to other departments when needed i.e. hand stacking, supporting batching functions, other duties as assigned, etc…Perform duties as required and assigned.All employees are expected to support the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program by following food safety and quality procedures, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, and reporting any concerns.
