Description:
Our department is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide critical administrative and project support for our Clienttion Oncology team.
This role has the potential to transition into a permanent position based on departmental needs and performance.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Experience with Epic is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided on department-specific workflows and systems.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Dosimetry leadership team and clinical staff.
The candidate will review and organize patient treatment records, particularly for patients who have previously received radiation therapy at outside facilities.
Coordination and tracking of the collection and review of outside medical records will be necessary to support clinical due diligence before retreatment.
The individual will manage projects and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden on the clinical team.
Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks will be essential.
Collaboration with physicians, dosimetrists, and other clinical staff to support patient care and operational needs is expected.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required for this role.
This position plays a key role in reducing administrative workload for the clinical team, allowing providers to focus on patient care and helping improve patient throughput.
Based on anticipated workload, the department expects this need to be full-time, with the potential for the temporary position to become permanent.
