You would receive a specific job description upon hire.Assist the Warehouse ManagerFill transfersReceive all deliveriesHook up and monitor all flour deliveriesKeep all warehouse locations clean and organizedWhen necessary assist building 7 with breaks on the forkliftReceive all purchase orders in Bakers DozenCreate transfers in Bakers DozenReport any damage to the building or product immediatelyInspect equipment on a regular basisReport issues including product safety and quality to Supervisor immediatelyResponsible for filling out paperwork correctlyResponsible for maintaining a clean work areaInspect equipment before each use and report any problems to the Shipping Supervisor/ManagerOperate equipment in a safe manner, adhering to required methods of use as explained during trainingMaintain building security by keeping doors closed/locked at all timesCleaning/housekeeping will be done when assigned or when no other work is availableKnow where emergency STOP and START/STOP buttons are locatedWhen necessary, wear gloves while handling productFollow all company's GMP proceduresMust maintain a valid driver's license at all timesMust pass company forklift training and maintain certificationPerform all special requests by the Shipping ManagerPhysical DemandsWork requires some physical strain such as long periods of standing, bending, climbing, and lifting over head. Must be able to lift approximately 35 pounds over head.Work EnvironmentWorking around power equipment, slippery floors and dusty areas. Very hot conditions during summer seasons. Protective clothing such as uniform, safety glasses, slip resistant shoes and gloves may be required.
