- Answer patient calls and handle inquiries promptly, following protocols and service standards
- Schedule appointments, confirm details, and manage rescheduling or cancellations
- Manage patient arrival and departure activities, including collecting copays and updating records
- Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits
- Obtain pre-authorizations and referrals, and coordinate benefits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and safety
- Anticipate patient needs and resolve issues promptly
- Build positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff
