Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st Shift Voice Picker for the Split Case department who will be responsible for various task.OverviewThis is a role within the distribution center of Simon & Schuster, a 100-year-old book publishing company with offices around the world.In this role you will be a Voice Picker in our Split Case Department.What you will be doing on a daily basisPick orders using voice picking equipment.Follow simple voice commands to fill book orders.Meet or exceed LM SOP quota.Scan labels using finger scanner.Willing to work in other areas of operation from time to time.Take direction from different leads when working in other areas.Perform replenishments as needed.Other duties as assigned.Some requirements:High School Diploma preferred.Ability to understand and read shipping labels.Ability to understand and follow simple commands.Able to meet daily LM quota for picking.Attention to detail.Good listening and math skills.You must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.You must have careful attention to detail and strong communication skills.You must have the ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day.Able to follow all safety policies and procedures.Overtime as needed.
