With over 130 years of growth behind us, we're building a team of sales professionals who want to own a book of business and grow it - backed by a stable, family-owned company.When you join our team, you'll experience:Autonomy to build, own, and grow your own account listIndustry-leading medical benefits – we cover 80% of your medical premium AND your entire deductible, so you keep more of what you earnLong-term stability with a company that's stood the test of timePosition OverviewYou're an essential part of our operations, ensuring products move safely, accurately, and efficiently every day - loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and keeping the warehouse running smoothly.What You'll DoCore Responsibilities:Safe, efficient, and accurate loading of our trucks for next-day customer deliverySafe and efficient unloading of incoming stock deliveries, including accurate verification against shipping documentsAssist "will-call" customers by retrieving orders and loading their vehicles in a safe, timely, and efficient mannerDay-to-Day Activities:Build knowledge of company products to better serve customers and teammatesLoad, unload, and stock inventory safely and carefullyAttend scheduled meetings and training sessionsMaintain a professional image at all timesManage paperwork and reports as requiredKeep the warehouse clean and orderlyUnderstand and follow all company policies and proceduresWhat We're Looking ForEducation & Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredForklift Driver's license, or ability and willingness to be trained to attain oneEssential Skills:Reliable, responsible, and eager to learnBasic math skills and strong attention to detailGreat customer service and communication skillsExperience working effectively with a wide range of peopleSelf-starter who performs well independently and as part of a teamPhysical & Scheduling Requirements:Available for shift workAbility to lift 70 pounds and to walk and stand for long periodsAble to work in varying weather conditions while remaining alert and focusedAbility to handle multiple work assignments simultaneouslyKnowledge of workplace safety standardsCompensation & BenefitsWe invest in our people.
