District Courier HourlyLocation: Burlington County Institute of Technology & Burlington County Special Services - Shared Position Summary BCIT & BCSSSD is seeking a reliable and responsible District Courier to provide timely pickup and delivery services across all district locations. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of mail, materials, and equipment.Qualifications:Valid Driver's License (required)Minimum of three (3) years of safe driving experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to lift at least 50 poundsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and follow assigned delivery schedulesHourly Rate: $16.00 to $20.00 per hourReports To: School Business AdministratorPerformance Responsibilities:Provide pickup and delivery of internal mail to all district sites on an assigned schedulePerform pre-delivery sorting, inspection, and determine appropriate routing for mail and packagesDeliver special packages, books, and school materials as neededAssist Transportation, Facilities, and the School Business Administrator as assignedSupport business office functions, including banking-related tasksTransport furniture and equipment between school locationsAssist maintenance and operations crews as neededRespond to after-hours emergencies when requestedDeliver Board of Education agendas and materials to board membersPerform additional duties as assigned by the supervisorAdditional Information:Must pass criminal history background checkProof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status requiredMust be able to meet physical demands of the positionEEO/AA Employer: BCIT & BCSSSD prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, sex (including pregnancy), disability, genetic information, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law.
