You're someone who values collaboration and communicates effectively with colleagues to ensure our customers receive their products on time and in perfect condition.About The RoleThe Material Handler is responsible for handling daily receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping activities. This requires processing and advancing the status of daily orders and returns, assisting the Logistics Lead with special projects, and moving product in and out of the configuration center as required to fulfill sales order ship dates. This role requires collaboration with colleagues in our warehouse and configuration center to ensure timely delivery to our customersMust be based in the United States and able to commute to New Castle DE location.Other responsibilities include:Inspect quality of products received from suppliersEfficiently pack products to minimize shipping costsEnsure accuracy of shipmentsto customersNotify appropriate parties whenshipping suppliesare neededInvestigate and resolve shipping challenges as necessaryPerform physical inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracyProcess returns from clients and returns to vendorsFocus on quality of service throughout all stages of the order lifecycleCoordinate all space requirements for inventoryin partnership with Logistics LeadComplete weekly cycle counts accurately and efficientlyComplete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements sectionIdentify and elevate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation effortsOther duties as assignedDesired skills and experience:Ability to lift packages of 50lbs.withoutmachineryExperience using a pallet jack to lift packages over 50lbs.Experience operating a forklift and/or other warehouse machineryExperience with UPS WorldShip (Domestic and International) and FedExExperience with Shipping and ReceivingExperience with Microsoft OfficeExperience with NetSuite is a plusFamiliarity with Quality Management practices (ISO) is a plusSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pmContract Type: 6 monhs contract with possibility of conversion to full-time based on performanceCompensation: $23/hour on 1099 with possible overtime (Overtime rate is 1.5 times the hourly rate).
