Vehicle UnloaderRoad & Rail ServicesLocation: Twin Oaks, PAStarting Pay: $20.00 per hourJob Type: Full-Time | On-SiteWork Environment: Outdoor automotive and railroad operationDrive New Vehicles and Stay ActiveRoad & Rail Services is hiring dependable Vehicle Unloaders to join our team in Twin Oaks, Pennsylvania.If you enjoy driving, working outdoors, staying active throughout your shift, and being around new vehicles, this could be a great opportunity for you. As a Vehicle Unloader, you'll help safely unload newly manufactured vehicles from railcars and move them to designated staging and parking areas within the facility.This is an active, hands-on position in a working railroad and automotive environment. You'll regularly enter and exit vehicles, walk throughout the facility, climb railcar ladders, and work outdoors in changing weather conditions.Previous railroad experience is not required. We're looking for reliable individuals with a valid driver's license, a strong safety mindset, and the willingness to learn.What You'll DoYour responsibilities as a Vehicle Unloader will include:Safely drive new vehicles off railcarsMove vehicles to assigned staging and parking locationsFollow designated driving routes and site traffic proceduresMaintain safe speeds and proper spacing between vehiclesEnter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the workdayAssist with moving vehicles from operational areas to designated parking locationsInspect vehicles for visible damage before and during movementCarefully maneuver a variety of new vehicles through the facilityClimb railcar ladders and access elevated railcar levels when requiredFollow company, customer, and railroad safety proceduresMaintain awareness of coworkers, vehicles, railcars, and equipment in the surrounding areaImmediately report vehicle damage, unsafe conditions, or other concernsWear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Assist the team with additional vehicle-handling duties as neededWhat We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an active outdoor environment.Candidates must have:Valid state-issued driver's licenseAbility to safely operate passenger vehiclesAbility to climb ladders up to approximately 16 feetAbility to repeatedly enter and exit vehiclesAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and remain physically active throughout the shiftAbility to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, and other changing weather conditionsStrong attention to detailDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsSafety-first attitudeAbility to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to learn railroad and vehicle-handling proceduresPay & BenefitsStarting Pay: $20.00 per hourRoad & Rail Services offers eligible full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidaysPaid vacationWeekly safety incentive opportunities, where applicableAnnual steel-toe boot allowanceCompany-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Training providedOpportunities for advancementPromote-from-within cultureVeteran-friendly workplaceLong-term career opportunities within the railroad and transportation industryJoin Road & Rail ServicesEstablished in 1987, Road & Rail Services has grown into a leading provider of rail-related services throughout North America.
